Sound and Vision

Sound and Vision is a visual series that explores how music and memory go hand-in-hand, using photography and typography. Music and photography are two integral parts of my creative process as an Art Director, both of which I’ve abandoned over the past 6 months of the pandemic.

As someone who would make playlists for moments as specific as a cocktail I was drinking, this was off-brand for me. I began to look back on photos I had taken in the past year, before this all started, and all I could think about was what I was listening to during that month, day or week - how I was feeling and how that track inspired my vision at that moment. Viewers can experience the track associated with the image by scanning the QR code using the Spotify app.
